1940-1960 production.
Crafted with a chromed tubular-steel cantilever frame and laced cognac leather seat and back, these examples of MR10 chairs showcases the elegance and engineering mastery of Mies van der Rohe. Their sculptural form and durable construction make it both rare and highly collectible. Designed by Mies van der Rohe and manufactured by Knoll International, MR10 chairs are beloved for their fluid lines, exceptional craftsmanship, and remarkable sitting comfort.
These early examples show their age both via the chrome frames, and leather slings. The Leather has been conditioned several time for long term use, and new leather ties for the slings have been restrung. The frames have been cleaned to the best of their shape, and polished, though most imperfections remain at the bases.
