Offered as both a fress standing table lamp or hanging pendant, this molded polyethylene diffuser design is available in three different sizes. The Gregg lamp series for italian designer Foscarini features an organic, elegant and familiar shape that does not use pure geometry as its point of reference, but rather emulate pebbles honed by a river. 

These specific examples are from Foscarini's Outdoor line, with the table lamp noted as "Terra Outdoor" and the pendant version as "Sospensione Outdoor".

The table lamp version is free sitting, with no base offered. An in-line switch is used to operate the lamp with an on/off function, using a 10ft white cord and a Type A outlet plug.

The pendant version features a 10ft cord, aircraft cable safety cable, and uses a standard Type A outlet plug for power, though ceiling mounting using a junction box and Canopy Kit would be possible with professional installation and minor wiring.
