Set of 4 Case Study Fiberglass Counter Stools in Natural for Modernica
2000-2015 production.
First designed in 1948 by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller, the Fiberglass Shell Chair marked a shift in how seating could be made and understood. Developed for The Museum of Modern Art’s International Design Competition, its molded, single-piece form offered a new kind of flexibility and accessibility. Over time, it has become one of the most recognizable and influential furniture designs of the twentieth century.
Offered here as a set of four with the H-Base and in the Natural color. While originally produced by Herman Miller, the fiberglass shell was later reintroduced by Modernica, who carried forward the material and process in their own production.
Sold as a set of 4. If interested in 2, please contact us directly.
