Spline Stool by Jérémy Paguet
New Production.
Jérémy Paguet creates refined collectible objects that move between furniture, lighting, and sculpture. Working from Montreal since 2020, his practice is defined by a deeply material approach - balancing technical precision with a more poetic and intuitive sensibility. Each work exists somewhere between object and sculpture, shaped through an attention to surface, proportion, and process.
The Spline Stool series stands as one of the designer's best known pieces. Distinguished by its restrained form and versatility, this piece functions equally well as a side table, stool, or bedside object. Constructed from two mechanically assembled elements secured by three visible screws, its design balances structural clarity with a quietly sculptural presence.
Finished in a lightly textured baked coating designed to resist marking and wear, it is available in black, brushed and waxed aluminum, or monochromatic finishes. Each example is individually signed and dated by the maker. Each brings a sculptural presence to residential, studio, and commercial interiors alike, and is made 100% in Canada.
Due to the nature of the production process, no two pieces are exactly alike, and subtle variations within the material are to be expected.
