Burl Wood Dining Table with Chrome Base in the style of Milo Baughman
1970-1980s production.
A clean-lined dining table in beautifully book-matched bird’s eye maple burl, defined by its quiet symmetry and expressive grain. Rectangular in form, it features a 24" removable leaf seamlessly integrated within the design, and rests on two sculptural, curved solid steel legs with a polished finish - creating a refined contrast between warmth and precision.
Minimal in its composition yet visually rich, the table feels both grounded and striking, offering a subtle statement without excess. It comfortably seats up to eight with the extension, depending on chair selection.
The burl’s tone and figure remain exceptionally vibrant, having been carefully preserved under a custom-fitted heat protection cover, included with the piece. The surface, edges, base, and finish are all in outstanding condition, presenting with a clarity and depth that highlights the natural beauty of the wood.
